What is Digital Employee Experience (DEX)
A subset of employee experience (EX), digital employee experience (DEX) is the quality of employees’ holistic experience with the workplace technology they encounter throughout their employee journey.
While this narrows down the overarching definition of EX to focus specifically on the digital aspects of employee experience, it’s still a very broad concept, encompassing everything from badge scanning and the ability to print documents to communications, collaboration, interacting with enterprise software, finding information and more.
