Governed AI

Workgrid delivers generative AI capabilities within a controlled manner allowing users to fit AI into their information standards. Pre-configured apps, prompts, and persona targeting provide robust constraints limiting the type of content that can be created ensuring responses meet your organization's appropriate usage criteria.

Usage

Organizations can maintain greater control of generative AI experiences with the ability to connect their own LLMs to the Workgrid platform.

By enabling a bring your own LLM approach, customers choose the models designated for appropriate use and integrate them into Workgrid Apps.

  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and inherited system permissions ensure only authorized users can interact with AI applications and data

  • Clear usage policies allow organizations to define AI behavior, monitor interactions, and set operational boundaries to ensure complete oversight

Accountability

Enterprise authentication standards, regulatory compliance, and auditable AI interactions ensure that all AI-driven decisions and interactions are traceable.

  • Workgrid provides detailed logging and compliance reporting

  • Workgrid leverages robust OAuth 2.0 with optional SAML 2.0 single sign-on (SSO) for secure and seamless login experiences

  • Data residency options allow organizations to meet corporate-specific regulations while maintaining full control over their information

Risk Mitigation

Workgrid continuously assesses security risks and enforces policies to ensure AI interactions remain accurate and aligned to enterprise standards.

  • Workgrid’s AI models have pre-trained content moderation filters that block harmful, misleading, or non-compliant outputs

  • AI responses are strictly grounded in organizational knowledge sources or apps – eliminating fabricated information

  • Unlike open-ended LLM responses, Workgrid invokes structured workflows and pre-defined utterances to ensure accuracy

  • Workgrid follows OWASP-compliant threat modeling and penetration testing to proactively identify vulnerabilities and strengthen defenses against emerging threats

FAQs

How does Workgrid protect my data?

Workgrid employs a rigorous ethical AI and security methodology in the design of our architecture and use of AI technologies trusted by Fortune 100 to 1000 organizations. Workgrid AI models are not trained on customer data. Conversations and user interactions are anonymized upon processing and reporting. All PII is obfuscated on Workgrid's side.

How do you minimize LLM hallucinations?

The most common source of LLM hallucinations you see in the news and media occur when LLMs generate conent that is not factually grounded.

In short, we do not return responses directly from LLMs. Our AI architecture and apps are grounded on your organizational context and knowledge sources providing accurate and direct responses.

Workgrid has been designed to proactively eliminate hallucinations using controlled interactions with AI models which leverage pre-defined prompts, apps and agents, to ensure higher accuracy and trust.

How can customers control what data Workgrid has access to?

We recognize how important privacy is to customers. Workgrid personnel do not have access to your data or customer utterances unless you explicitly grant consent.

In addition, customers have control over what systems they connect to Workgrid. For documents, customers have sole control over which documents the AI Assistant can index. For third-party systems, Workgrid uses API calls to retrieve specific data from the system.

With Builder, Workgrid's no-code drag-and-drop editor, app developers have granular discretion over exactly which API endpoints to call from their source systems, ensuring control and understanding of exactly what data will be accessed, processed, and presented to end users.

Who decides which systems connect to Workgrid?

You do. You choose exactly which systems to connect to Workgrid.

How is the Workgrid AI Assistant trained?

With Workgrid, your data remains yours. Workgrid does not have access to your data and does not use your organization’s data to train other models.

For our AI Assistant, we leverage leading pre-trained gated models to enhance the conversational experience.

If you are building agents which leverage AI, you can bring their own trusted LLM (BYOLLM) into our Builder platform; which allows compliance to your AI governance frameworks and additional control over data and privacy.

Does Workgrid block harmful content?

Yes. Generative AI models used by Workgrid are configured with content filtering models that have been trained and tested to detect specific categories of potentially harmful content in both input and output.

How does Workgrid ensure ongoing compliance with emerging regulations?

By leveraging enterprise-grade services in our core conversational engine, we confidently inherit compliance from industry leading providers in addition to performing regular threat modeling to OWASP standards.

Is Workgrid FedRAMP authorized?

No, at this time Workgrid is not FedRAMP authorized.
