Notify employees of CRM assignment updates

The CRM Assignments app helps keep your sellers and customer account reps informed of changes to customer relationship management (CRM) records. The app sends three different notification types:

  • Account Assigned Notifications will alert an employee when they are assigned a Team Member Role in the Account record.

  • Case Assigned Notifications will alert an employee when they are assigned as the Case Owner in the Case record.

  • Opportunity Assigned Notifications will alert an employee when they are assigned a Team Member Role in the Opportunity record. Out of the box, it will only send a notification when the recipient is different than the record modifier (so you're not sending yourself a notification after you update a record with your own name). Any app feature can be modified to your preferences.

Integration Details

The CRM Assignments app was designed with the Salesforce CRM API v1.0.

Requirements:

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Enterprise Edition or Professional Edition with API support

  • Administrator privileges (contact your system administrator for help if you do not have privileges)

This app template may be customized for alternate integrations using Workgrid's no-code builder.

API Details

For the best user experience, please ensure each Account, Opportunity and Case record includes the indicated fields, or modify the template to make it work for your organization.

  • Case - Subject, Contact Email, Origin, Priority, Status

  • Opportunity Team Member - Team Member Role
