Workgrid May 2023 Product Updates

Microapps made their way to center stage this month with new apps and data sources joining the microapp catalog. This month's release included four new microapps, plus the addition of a new app template for OC Tanner.

Team Note Microapp

The Team Note app enables employees to send notifications to their manager, peers, and direct reports from within Workgrid. Out of the box, users can draft a notification title, summary, and optional detail, and choose to send to any combination of audience right from within the Workgrid toolbar.

For customers, this means you can now send smart notifications to a limited audience without having to log into the Workgrid Console.

Quick Links Microapp

Now Workgrid is truly one central location for all enterprise system actions and links with the Quick Links app! Admins can create a listing of quick links for employees, who can then add the most frequently used links to their favorites section for quick and easy access to popular web pages.

Recent Files Microapp

Provide quick access to recently modified or shared files with the Recent Files app. Integrated with Microsoft, this app gives employees streamlined access to their three most recently modified and three most recently shared files. 

The Time Off Balance app template was updated to now include UKG Ready as a data source for either a microapp or smart notification.

This app provides employees with simplified access to one of their most important compensation benefits - their time off information.

The Award Approvals app gives approvers an easy interface to approve or decline award nominations. Approvers can take action on award nominations through either a smart notification or the microapp.
