The Workgrid Assistant streamlines knowledge management and provides intelligent search capabilities for employees, enabling employees to find the information they need, when they need it.
The KM Promise award is designed to celebrate the success stories of knowledge management and is given to a company that provides innovative technology that breaks through the hype to help customers gain insights, collaborate and compete in a mobile and global business environment.
The Workgrid team will be heading to the 2018 KMWorld event in Washington, DC to network and collaborate with knowledge management professionals and experts alike to discuss today's top knowledge management challenges, opportunities and trends.
We are also presenting during the Digital Workplace and Intranet showcase on Wednesday, November 7th at 4:00pm hosted by Step Two Designs. The showcase is a chance for attendees to receive an in-depth walk-through of leading edge intranets and digital workplaces. We will be showing first-hand how the Workgrid Assistant successfully streamlined knowledge management for Liberty Mutual employees by surfacing a modern unified view of relevant, personalized and contextual information from multiple sources to employees. If you're attending KMWorld, be sure to add the session to your calendar!
State of Knowledge Management in Today's Digital Workplace
In today's digital-first world, information is critical and employees expect immediate access to the right information, at the right time. The reality however is that information is usually is disparate and siloed across an organization, creating a complex knowledge management experience and productivity burdens for employees.
In fact, according to McKinsey report, employees spend 9 hours per week on average searching for information. It's clear, organizations need to invest in providing effective knowledge management solutions or risk paying their employees to waste time searching through applications and their inboxes for the information they need to get their job done.
At Workgrid, we believe the future of knowledge management will evolve around intelligence. Powered by technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing, an intelligent knowledge management solution will bring together and manage information from different sources all while understanding and leveraging information about the user to provide the information employees need, when they need it. For example, if an employee has an upcoming meeting in another office building, a system could predict the employee may need travel information or parking reservations without the employee having to search for that information.
We look forward to attending KMWorld next week to learn more about the future of knowledge management and how we can further evolve the Workgrid Assistant to meet the demanding needs of enterprises as they strive to provide efficient knowledge management solutions. Hope to see you in Washington, DC!
